WHAT ARE WE DOING?
Our department is the only specialty of dentistry that inculcates the expertise leadership qualities among the students towards population based learning, oral health surveillance, policy development, oral health promotion and community based disease prevention to promote oral health related quality of life.

Infrastructure
The Department is committed to provide an integrated, curative, preventive and promotive oral health care to the population at their doorstep by means of specially designed framework consisting of following:
The Department has 2 well-equipped, air conditioned Mobile Dental Units.
The Department has 2 portable Dental Chair Units.
The Department has fully functional peripheral health care centers.
The Department has adopted 2 villages and 4 schools providing regular screening and treatment visits.
The Department organizes regular outreach programmes especially in the interest of beset and inaccessible sections of the society.
All these above stated resources ensures incorporation of oral health care in the existing health infrastructure with due consideration towards versatile clinical exposure to the post graduates and graduating interns of the Department.
